Statement of Need
Universities are outputting fresh graduates every year with Public Administration, Finance, Human Resource and Marketing qualifications. While the institutions are doing extremely good work there are skills that are not imparted because of the academic nature of the degree programme. Yet for the new HR officers, skills to undertake Job Analysis and Job Evaluation are extremely important. This is equally so for practicing HR officers and managers in other line departments. Creating work and matching duties and responsibilities with possessed knowledge and skills is a key to effective work accomplishment. This programme will elaborate on why and how the two concepts are different but also why without the skills professionals will never be effective at HRM work.
