Statement of Need
In the contemporary world and for many years to come, Governments Multinational Corporations (MNCs) business companies and their management and employees, public trade with other countries, governments, MNCs, Companies and citizens of other nations. This reality creates the need for management and staff to have working knowledge, and skills in international finance. In realization of this important need, this International Finance (IF) programme is being offered.

Objectives of the Programme
By the end of the course, participants will:

  • Understand the nature of IF, objectives and role of IF
  • Appreciate the nature, objectives and role of the International Monetary Systems (IMS) as they carry out their activities
  • Manage exports and imports of goods and services optimally
  • Comprehend the nature, structure, objectives and functions of International Financial Markets, and
  • Understand International Capital structure and how to internationalize organizational capital structure

  • Financial Markets and their operations
  • International parity relationships and forecasting foreign exchange rates
