Statement of Need
This programme is centering on Employees Rewards. When organizations advertise jobs and ultimately hire employees they look for people to carry out planned organizational work. However, qualified persons respond to the advertisements and eventually accept being employed because they look forward to being rewarded well. The two interests need to be reconciled so that corporate mission can be achieved. This programme will impart the current techniques for and skills salary, benefits and incentives management administration. Application of the skills will both the benefit organization and employees as staff will effectively perform in their jobs, stay longer in the organization.

Objectives of the Programme
The key objective of this programme therefore is to impart practical knowledge and skills for better implementation of policy in this HR area. By the end of the programme participants shall be capable of:

  • Designing and operating more effective reward policies
  • Developing and implementing more effectively salary structures, benefit schemes and incentive packages
  • Involving all stakeholders including management, employees and unions in the administration of this strategic HR area, are
  • Evaluating effectiveness of existing reward policies and regulations and recommending improvements subject to the budget
