Statement of Need
The issue of Mission and Vision realization is critical for countries and organizations. If there is an area where a government becomes answerable to her citizens is that of fulfilling election manifesto promises (mission) and what is stipulated and announced through her strategic plan. The same applies to organizational management Mission represents what it is created to do which should be its preoccupation while vision represents future aspirations of stakeholders as espoused and put in the strategic plan. In the world we live in agreed goals or targets cannot be neglected in which case then planning, strategizing and implementing is a must. It is no secret that same countries and organizations are challenged when it comes to achieving goals, plans and policies. This programme is intended to emphasize importance of strategizing hence seeks to impart knowledge and skills relevant to the management task.
