Statement of Need
Developing countries in their desire to progress fast conceive projects and programmes to fast track their agenda. Utilizing their thinking and planning capacity senior officers come up with well thought out projects and programmes for realizing their goals. Relevant sectors include agriculture, infrastructure development, health, education, mining, industry and commerce.
Project planning can be earier than project implementation and yet without the latter nothing remarkable comes to fruition. In the wider range of project/programme management there is monitoring of efficiency and effectiveness. Given that monitoring and evaluation are technical process various skills need to be possessed. This programme seeks to impart to estimed participants such skills so as to make best use of available resources.

Objectives of the Programme
The key goal of the progrmme is to sample the range of skills at all stages of project/programme management cycle. By the end of the course participants will be skilled in:
