Statement of Need
Public relations have to do with relationship between an organization and the wider public. The wider public is the external environment. The publics include the government, other organizations, people in those businesses, the media and consumers of an organization’s products and services. A business must relate well with its publics because the latter is the source of her inputs and destination of her products/services. Corporate social Responsibility (CSR) focuses on extending gratitude to the environment and people for making it possible for the organization to get started, manage and prosper. Failure to deal properly deal with the public can lead to regrettable consequences for any organization hence this programme.

Objectives of the Programme
The key goal of the course is to sensitize and assist organizations to relate well with the external world. By the end of the course participants will appreciate:
